I recently put in an order for my 17" mags and I'm also puting on adjustable suspension. A guy at work told me that with 17s and adj. shocks, I would need spacers on the back wheels otherwise the wheel will ride on an angle or something like that. The spacer is supposed to make the wheel perpendicular to the ground. I've never actually heard of this before, so could somebody just clarify it or tell me the guy I work with doesn't know what he's talking about.

i dont know, but isnt the double wishbones purpose to keep the wheel perpendicular to the ground whatever happens?

Double wishbones usually have a good amount of negative camber gain, so when you drop the car negative camber increases. On the stock suspension this is to prevent the outside wheel from having positive camber (and reducing grip) when the suspension compresses in roll.

And yeah, you need a camber kit, not spacers.
