what is the meaning of all the motor code ?

b16, b16a, b18...... bla bla bla

i know only the h22, the motor of prelude ( 2.2L )

but the other, ( the b16 and b18 ) its a motor of witch car, and what does it mean. :dunno:

i dont know much about honda but if i remember correctly b16 is sir(civic) and b18 is integra

the D serie are the ''weak engines'' standard in most of the civics lx, ex, si, dx. There are some if them that have v-tec
the b serie is the most modified and swapped...b18c1 is gsr b18c5 is the ITR
b18a-b teg non v-tec
b16a to b16x is found in the teg XRI jdm vers and in the sir 99-00 here
k serie is from the new sir, rsx-s, crv
h and f series are from the prelude and accord
these are the most donnum engines...b series are for hp unless you make an ls-v-tec, b20 v-tec...than you gain tq with the v-tec.
the last frankenstein is the k24 crv base with a tsx or sir/type-s head...insane even stock!!
