Hello,

I was told a few things and want to make sure they are true...

I got a speeding ticket not to long ago, 55 in 30 zone.
Some one told me that the police officer are not allowed to hide, and they have to be wearing the orange thing in order to be able to issue you a ticket.

In my case, the police officer in my case, was not wearing the orange thing, and was hiding behind a rock. Only the second officer that actualy wrote the ticket was wearing her orange thing.

Please let me know if what i have been told is true or not..

Thx

lol:run: ...not true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah and they also have to have a big NEON sign pointing at them mentionning this: "Police officer operating RADAR here ---> "

Where do these things come from... geez. Radar operations can be performed in any matter. We often even use completely undercover cars that are undetectable to the public. If you want to catch people, you have to not be seen. The orange vest is mostly used for our safety. When pulling over cars, we want to be seen so that we do not get hit by motorists.
