Since when is it about people? It's about the oil and natural gas. The west wants it and needs it, they will take it at any cost. As for Germany, they never vote. And the Russians, China and the US will never side together.

Russia, China and Germany "Abstained" from voting. Which means they technically supported the resolution since they didn't veto it. you have to remember
EDT that China has Oil and other resource interests in Africa. It would be reasonable to say that they want Gadafi gone just as bad as the states in order to stabilize oil prices that have gone up "Globally". Its just Chinese policy to oppose the west publicly no matter what, but in the diplomatic background they're probably working hand in hand with them in their common problems. Look its cool to be proud of your country but not many people subscribe to your take on what's happening in Lybia.

The U.S. will conduct a damage assessment of the sites, which include SA-5 missiles and communications facilities. A senior U.S. military official, who was not authorized to speak on the record, said the missiles landed near Misrata and Tripoli, the capital and Gadhafi's stronghold.

je sais pas qui a commencer a attaquer qui, mais si c'est ce que je pense, on devrais pas s'en meler. si kadif est asser cave pour dire a ses troupes de tuer des gens inocent non armer....alors c'est normal que UN s'en mele, mais je vois pas comment que des avions qui abat d'autre avions peux aider les gens inocents non armee.

You have to keep the war machine going. Meanwhile, back home they have 20% unofficial unemployment and over 2M additional children and families living below the poverty line after the 2008 collapse. Yes, their priorities are straight indeed...

The National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Iranian Parliament (Majlis) issued a statement in support of the Bahraini people and called on Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to leave Bahrain's soil immediately, the Satellite Press TV reported on Saturday.

"The oppressed people of Bahrain are a part of the Islamic world and the Islamic Republic of Iran feels obligated to support them," the statement was cited as saying on Saturday.

The United States is definitely responsible for the murder of Bahrainis by ordering its "regional mercenaries" to invade the country and repress peaceful protesters, the statement added.

The statement also called on the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) to take serious actions on regional developments.

Bahrain has slammed Iran's "interference" in its internal affairs after the latter communicated with international organizations expressing concern about the situation in the Kingdom.
