how to repair floor jack?

i got my floor jack from Costco a few years ago. it worked well. now it will only jack it up half of its max height.
is the problem cause by not enough of fluids? broken seal?

They sell the fluid at auto parts stores. Try to fill it. I dont know where you get the seals though

I dont think you can rebuild the seals you can always put more oil in it and or use thicker oil and or use a swelling agent in the oil as a temp fix of course

add oil...it had leaked.

if its the Torin jack, just get a new one. its not worth the repair

Je trust plus une paire de chandelle qu'un joint torique a 4 cent...



BTW essaye de le démonté, j'en ai démonté 3, c'était toute des joint torique ben chieux a moins de 1$, parcontre prend pas ceux de rubber ordinaire, sa prend le grade pour les produit pétrolier sinon l'huile va le manger.
