Well boys, Gm did it again. first the SVT Focus, then the SRT-4, now the Cobalt ss Sc is dead. Gm isn't saying why but i think that it wasn't a hit that they taught it would be.
NO F@#$%ING kidding. 205 hp out of a supercharged ecotec. 35G+ A wing that looked to small for the car and not very nice. its a wonder GM mahaged to sell them to the public. 205 hp is tame campard to the Civic Si's 197hp NA engine. Christ, Mazda put 220 plus hp in the 3 so what was Gm thinking?
It's a shame that Gm killed it. it was very mean looking car with that body kit.(besides the wing) the seats were awesome and those mags where nuts. just goes to show that the imports have rung our bell again. And before anyone chastizes me for having a honda civic... let it be known that my car is my first car and is as fun to drive now as it was on the first day i got it. plus... it didnt cost to much money comparded to the Cobalt SS SC.
The only glimer of hope left is that the Cobalt SS (not Sc) will still be sold. it will be called the cobalt sport (how patronizing!). neway i hope some one reads this and goes to GM and buys the last SS's. as much as it hurts to see it go it would hurt to see them just sitting in the dealer lot waiting to be bought. let's hope the same straw has not been pulled for Ion Redline.
So thats it. no more american sport compact represent. it seems to be a trend to kill off american built foreign sport compact killers(SRT-4)(CobaltSS)(SVT Focus) Lets hope that the mustang and the new Camaro will not become the same faith. (I cringe at the taught)
Well guys keep your heads up and your foot planted on the gas. oh and keep it shiny side up and rubber side down.*tu*
