anybody went there?
im thinking of place for a short "roadtrip",
wildwood sounds nice cuz there's beach and other activities in water.
im thinking of maybe 2~3nights trip,
let me know if anybody did it
 
Yep, Ocean City's the shit, compared to WW. Lats time I was in Wildwood, it was becoming some sort of ghetto.
 
Wildwood actually changed a lot in the last few years.

A lot of old houses/hotels have been demolished and replaced by condominiums. They are really making something better with the city.
 
made that roadtrip last summer .. the beach is awesome.. 75% of the girls are ugly, not the best trip.. but still lots of funny memories.

Wildwood, c'est ben correct. Il y a plusieurs activités à faire, la plage est belle et c'est pas trop loin d'Atlantic City si tu aimes les casinos. J'ai pas trouvé les filles laides du tout.
 
well im going there with my gf so i don't really care about girls... ...or do i lol.

how much should i budget myself for motel or hotel? i don't need fancy one but something decent that i can just sleep in.
chilling at the beach won't cost much but i wanna rent a little motorboat or waterbike
 
If you're going for 2-3 days, I suggest going to Atlantic City instead of Wildwood. Me and friend did a roadtrip last year, took a room at the Tropicana Resort. 3 days/2 nights of pure drunken beach/gambling/fine eating.

Beach is as nice as Wildwood, boardwalk is less family oriented, more commercial. The Tropicana itself is like an in-doors Downtown, with couple of bars, karaoke, lounge, club, fine restaurants (We went to Red Square and Cuba Libre, both awesome places). 2$ 750 ml Coors @ Adam's Sport Bar was the shit.

Anyways if you are with ur GF, I suggest u go down a bit further to Cape May, Beach is amazing and good time guaranteed, a lot less ghetto than WW.
 
Atlantic city is the ghetto, whatever you do don't stay there with your girl, she'll dump you lol ( the streets = ghetto )

I mean you can stop by and show her the boardwalk with the casino's and versace stores.

as for Wildwood, i've been about 10 times including 3 times with my girl, and 1 time with friends. I always manage to have fun and for someone who has never been, there's great things and great shopping to do.

If you wan something nice, hit wildwood crest ... the only thing is that you might have to take a longer walk or your car to reach the boardwalk ... but you won't have to walk 10 minutes to get to the beach :p

hey guys I should be heading down there mid August as well, anything fun to do there in particular? Any good restos?
 
T'es mieux de réserver immédiatement parce que ça se book viiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiite. Pour les activités, il y a de la pêche en haute mer, il y a un parc d'attraction, cinema, tu peux louer des vélos, le casino est pas trop loin en voiture. À Wildwood, il n'y a pas vraiment de bons restaurants.
