"The wall belongs to us," said David Tanguay, general manager of Villeneuve's Newtown.

why is he an ass? he's not sponsored from those companies and the wall belongs to him....I'm sure if you were in his place you wouldn't have done anything...

stupid haters.

I agree.

Since the Ad can only be seen by clients who are on Ziggy's property, Villeneuve could have just charged a price for using his wall. Because fact is it's not taking anything away from him anyway. If he had any buisness sense he would have done that.

Sure it's Villeneuve's wall, it gives him the 'right' to do what he wants with it, but the fact is there wasn't a reason to do it.

no reason to do it?? what if a sponsor paid you thousands and thousands or $$$ and then someone comes paint something else from a rival sponsor....what would you have done?

1. He did not paint over anything else, if that's what you were saying.

2. The ad was not visible by anyone other than his own public.

3. He spent alot of money putting up what is considered as a 'piece of art' and had the disrespect to paint over it.

4. I did say that a good solution would have been an agreement between the two to 'rent' his wall for a price.
