guys, halp me out!

i'm contesting a ticket tomorrow at the pointe-claire courthouse.

can i present my case in english or will that just be an auto-fail? i know you have 'the right' to pick your language, but in laval and montreal it's all french judges who don't care how valid your claims are if they're not french. being in the west-island, are most things done in english, or at least not frowned upon? i've never risked it in english.

i basically get nervous being up there doing a french oral report in front of a bunch of strangers, and i can at least focus on my case better if i can speak in my mother tongue and not worry about jumbling words or forgetting terms in french under pressure. not that i haven't won in french, but man were my pits sweaty. :D
 
if you think your case has a high % chance of winning.. i guess do it in your mother tongue lol

i contested a ticket there... he was french, i chose english...
i lost but he let me pay the original ticket ammount without the extra costs and fees...
