Hey guys so I got a pretty dumb ticket on my part. To make a long story short, I went up a 1 way street for approximately 3 meters to park in my driveway and a cop pulled me over while I was walking into my garage. Now the 1 way sign isn't located at the street where I turned from, it is located right before my house, so this leaves me wondering if what I did was actually illegal. However, if I did not loose any demerit points, I will not contest (no time).

So my question, my ticket is a 100$ minimum fine + 44 $ + 10 $ contribution = 154$. I am on my probation license (the 2 year one). On my ticket, I do not see anything stating or regarding demerit points. I've read it over 8 times and nothing.

Is there any way of finding out? Should I go to the local police station or call the SAAQ?

Anyways, thanks in advance fellas.

hum i would say contesting it will be hard

for the points normally it is on the ticket,
