There are sicker cars than an STI.

-Mazda RX-7

-MazdaSpeed Miata

-Porsche Boxster S

-C5 Chevrolet Corvette Z06

-1990 Porsche 911

-1999 Porsche 911

-EVO IX

-2001 BMW M Coupe, M Roadster

-Ford Mustang Cobra

I'll take all these cars before an STI as they are more fun to drive.

See you next winter while youll be in your beater and ill be circling around you. :D

If it's for a summer toy, for 25K i'd say:

Boxter S
M Roadster (Z3)
Miata + tons of goodies
Mr2 Spyder + lots of goodies
MR2 Turbo (91-95) + lots of goodies
Mustang Cobra Conv
S2000 + some goodies

If it's for a year round daily driver, Legacy GT or A4 3.2/older S4

Cobra + Kenny Bell :D !

Cheers

See you next winter with my RWD sports car doing doughnuts next to you.

I see some many 3 series, A4, etc... getting stuck on the road as I pass by them with ease.

Driving skills+winter tires+driving smart= no problem in winter

..its just not the same kind of car what so ever, im just saying that an STI is much better as a daily/all year round car than any of the cars you listed earlier(exept for the evo) since it is just as good on dry pavement as it is on snow.

The time for words is over. Everything is said and any more debate is futile.

Go drive them all and make up your own opinion.

Have fun and keep us posted.
