All this shaking down, just to fit bigger tires that don't fit the wheel wells, causing the steering lock to decrease dramatically and cause a crash on the first corner of the first stage...

Money can't buy everything, I guess.

BTW, I'd endure severe pain for that Millington Diamond Engine.

clearly you know a lot more than professional rally team engineers.

You don't know what your talking about. His car had a fuel pump failure during the first transit stage. There is no way you can predict that. And BTW his car was sick, check some videos of it on youtube.

Ref.: I was part of one of the other teams in Open class.

Errr. First corner of the rally. Left front wheel grinding the fender -> crash.

Fuel pump failed while he was in the ditch. That with the banged up transmission crossmember.

Car was sick...hope he comes back.

Maybe not, but I know that the purpose of testing is to actually test what you are going to run in the race.

Clearly, that is NOT what they have done.

Pros do fuck up from time to time, you know. And as mistakes go, this one was pretty easily avoidable. Especially is you do shakedown runs.

Then clearly, you have not seen ANY of the vids out of the event. Check PhilS13's vid for starters, you can HEAR the fucking tire rub.

I've been to enough races to know that while you are crewing, you usually don't see shit all of the event. You litterally can't tell the forest for the trees.
