So I guess that makes Android fans brain dead consumers, right???sorry im an android fan !! never had any apple product i hate them !
Most people don't give a shit. Most people don't want to add a wing or a blow off valve or an exhaust system or what ever the fuck you guys are doing now a days (no offense). This car, like others in its class (econobox), is advertised and sold as it is described: cheap luxury that will get you around. Buyers of this car aren't going to be racing, they're going to do the groceries or bring their kids to school. Shit, a lot of owners are probably retirees and they obviously won't be dropping the car.
For them to give you a nicer interior or exterior (this is a matter of opinion, obviously) they had to skim somewhere... 15 000$ doesn't get you a package, it gets you a deal. A decent interior (nobody can contest that), a nice look (it's not ugly, just looks like something my old man would drive), and an older, but capable engine.
VW might be like Apple, but you know what? Their stock sells and their advertising works. Let the GLI or the GTI entertain MR, leave the 2011 city replacement alone, it's not made for you, nor is it advertised to you.
/thread.
2.0T, 2.5, and 2.0 diesel are still available. The 2.0 is just one more option for those who dont want to spend as much.
2.0t are not available in the jettas no more , only gti and tiguan will have the 2.0t
I would agree with you 100% if the price was 16k WITH a/c and other basic equipement.
Yes, it's a huge step from the City Jetta but still, the fact remains that at the 16K price, you get a stripped version and a crappy engine while with everyone else you get a stripped version but at least a normal engine.
