The Rally is heading to a very close finish. Of course Speed isn't showing any of it and i had to get my coverage from Racing Underground.
 
The problem for Subaru is that the new rules force cars to be equiped with a tranversally mounted 1.6l 4cyl.

All current subaru models are longitudinal and more than 1.6l

I'm sure they would have waived the transversal bit if Subaru really wanted to come back.

The 1.6l bit is very easy to conform to.

Thing is WRC is frightfully expensive and Subaru remains quite a small automaker, compared to Ford and Citroen and BMW.
 
WRC has gotten pretty boring over the past few years. Especially with pretty much only 2 manufactuers left, its like meh...
