The Bad:
-Needs new rear brakes soon
-Timing belt is due in next 20,000 km
-A few stone chips on the front from highway

Diesel car owners dictate the price for their whip. It's always been like that... everybody knows the cars are reliable, torquy, and economical at the pump. Add the build quality of the MK5 (compared to the MK6), the options, the unitronic chip, the 18inch alloys, and the warranty and the price starts making sense.
