Need info on Third gen Camaro chassis. (weak spots?)

Ok, now I'm looking at an 84 camaro (NO T-top). It has 160,000km on it. the body is in primer, with rough edges. the interior is rough, but not trash. looks like a work in progress. the drivetrain is a basic setup. 305 built in 2003, 4bbl 600cfm, cams, intake, 3" exhaust, 700r4 in good order, with 2:77 posi. plated, runs good just not a looker...

Now when I was talking to the owner, he suggested that I reinforce the chassis if I plan to continue driving it. He said " blah blah blah weak spots, blah blah blah cracked and we welded it up around transmission and left rear corner". According to him, it's not due to rust, but rather stress from rough roads, and torque. I kinda believe him, as I have seen this in other monocoque chassis before, and imo, that gen f-body seems to look like it might be a flimsy design (like many other sports-hatchbacks), But I'm not sure. The price is waay cheap, so I don't care about having to weld a few panels and reinforcing the chassis, but idk if this is a sign of more problems.

I plan on running the car in the summer for 2-3 years as a surrogate. Is this just gonna be a simple job I need to do once? or am I in for big problems down the road?

FYI the floor has been replaced

anyways... browsed the forums for 5 hours before I got confirmations of floppy chassis characteristics
