Israel vs Hamas: Deadly Theater (Thread About the On Going WAR)

How can the occupied be ever be perceived as evil, shit imagine The British come back here along with the french and occupy our lands because they have a 3 hundred year claim and take away everything from us and put us in ghettos while cutting us off from the rest of the world. Would we be evil to wanna fight at at cost? Would you say it was their land and it's rightfully theirs? You look at the whiteness of most Israelis, can't really say their heritage is from that region, it's not realistic. This is just given to them because of their "religion" which they might have converted too a generation or two ago. Realistically most Jews converted to Christianity or Islam some hundreds of years ago. Odds are some of the ones dying now come from such heritages.

Can't really blame them (Hamas) for being racist and hateful (And I say this an non biased not muslim or Jewish person) since the people they hate are as racist as them. Can't always forgive your enemies.

anti semitist much ?

Alot of them blame Hamas, most actually, because they know how they are they live with them. Read about hamas, watch their television, i do.

And i dont agree with your reversal claim. There is no evidence to support it. And if you care about palestinians, like most here claim to, in no way shape or form should you be condoning or justifying the usage of human shields. It is NEVER necessary. Especially deliberately drawing fire into civilian zones to use the population as a political tool. Which Hamas brag about on their television networks for years now. Gaza has more rural land than urban land, and 75% of the population is in the urban sector. Most of the rest, spread out in refugee camps.

If Hamas was armed like Israel and the situation were reveresed. They would carry out their charter. Which demands the death of all jews and an islamic republic that will eventually expand into europe. But they wouldn't get very far before their arab neighbours attack them.. Sandro posted an interesting video monday morning, you should watch it.

here's the video if anyone is interested

anti semitist much ?

In regards to Raphy_Rogers statement

Nothin anti-semitic about it.

Logically sound when based on an incomplete platform.. Except the last part.

Hamas's declared its enemy is not only Israel, but any palestinian who attempts to pursue a peaceful solution with Israel shall be considered an enemy of Islam, as said in their charter. When their perceived Hate extends to the very people they pretend to protect, in the form of elimination of their peaceful political rivals through violent means, oppression by squandering Foreign aid and open usage of Human shields (once again they brag about it). There is no justifying this, and if you support this notion as a proportional comparison to what you perceive as Israeli racism, in doing so, you justify it and what it implicates for the palestinian people and the peace process as a whole. Than that in itself is a crime against Palestinians and detrimental to any form of peace.

i dont condone anyhing just stating the reason i think is behind what they do . also , forget the rest of the world for a sec , there is only israel palestinians and hamas , roles are reversed what happenes ?

Complete genocide and extermination. The charter of Hamas calls for the death of ALL jews everywhere, not just israelis, this is a fact. Before you argue, read their charter, watch their television.

You can say thats what the Israelis are doing even though there is a monumental amount of evidence to the contrary. But we can pretend for this hypothetical scenario that the Israelis are commiting genocide, Hamas would waste 64 years doing it. It would happen as fast as they could possibly do it.

In Sudan with rudementary weapons it didnt take them too long to kill 1,000,000 people for a similar extremist Islamic cause of extermination. An extermination which Hamas supported FYI

yep Ce quil dit est plutot acurate.

bon video,

anti semitist much ?

Est-ce que tu réalises qu'au moment où tu sorts la carte de l'antisémitisme, ta crédibilité tombe catastrophiquement ?

take away everything from us and put us in ghettos while cutting us off from the rest of the world.

You do know that Gaza also borders Egypt on one side, right? So why do you only blame Israel for "cutting them off from the rest of the world"?

If the mohawks decided to start shooting rockets into Quebec, would you support firing back or should we take it because we stole their land? (And btw that was real stealing, not like the fact that jews who already lived there decided to group into a country)

Gazan fire killed an IDF soldier and an Israeli civilian on Tuesday, as over 140 rockets rained down on Israel throughout the day.

Cpl. Yosef Partuk, 18, of Emanuel was killed Tuesday morning in a mortar attack in the Eshkol Regional Council area, the IDF released for publication Tuesday evening. Partuk was posthumously promoted to corporal. The civilian killed was a Beduin from one of the South's unrecognized villages.

EU: Israel has right to proportional self-defense

The announcements came on the heels of a Gaza rocket attack that lightly injured six people after striking an apartment building in the central city of Rishon Letzion. The upper floors of the building went up in flames, according to Channel 2.

Also Tuesday evening, a person was moderately to seriously wounded when a rocket fired from Gaza struck a building in Ashkelon.

That attack followed a barrage of rockets fired at Ashdod, in which seven people were lightly injured after two direct rocket hits on the city, including one that completely destroyed a grocery store.

Earlier Tuesday, two rockets fired from Gaza towards Jerusalem landed in the Gush Etzion region, with one hitting an open area of a Palestinian village in the West Bank, police and the IDF reported. It was unclear if the rocket caused any damage or injuries, although AFP reported Palestinian paramedics made their way to the scene.

The rocket set off the warning siren in the nation's capital for the second time since the start of Operation Pillar of Defense. The two rockets that set off the first such siren on Friday also landed outside the city.

Also on Tuesday, a salvo of rockets and mortars moderately wounded a reserve Armored Corps IDF officer near the Gaza border. Emergency forces evacuated the officer to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba.

Palestinians fired some 20 rockets at Beersheba Tuesday morning, following a relatively quiet night on the home front. The Iron Dome missile defense system intercepted at least 11 of the Grad rockets but three struck the city, damaging a bus, homes and a car but causing no injuries.

Dozens more Palestinian rockets flew toward southern Israel throughout Tuesday, with direct hits also reported in Kiryat Malachi and Sderot. Iron Dome intercepted at least five rockets on trajectories toward populated areas.

The Israel Air Force has struck more than 1,400 targets in Gaza since Operation Pillar of Defense, entering its seventh day on Tuesday, began with the targeted killing of Hamas military chief Ahmed Jabari last Wednesday.

MDA forces have dealt with over 252 casualties since the beginning of the Gaza operation, including three killed by a rocket in Kiryat Malachi and 21 injured as a result of falling shrapnel. Iron Dome has intercepted more than 350 rockets in total since the start of the operation.

If Quebec took half the mohawk's land and bombed them with White Phosphorous, set up black sites to torture kids/adults/women, used cluster bombs and evicted people to form settlements, trust that it'd be more than rockets that the Mohawk would launch at us. Remember Oka?

Please Bertro. Israel is as much at fault at Hamas. Both are using their population as pons.

Hamas Shouldn’t Fire Rockets … But Israel Has Violated HUNDREDS of UN Resolutions

Washington’s Blog
Nov 20, 2012

We condemn Hamas for firing rockets into Israel. We believe that targeting civilians is unconscionable, and is a war crime.

But by any objectives measure, Israel has broken the law much more than Hamas. Haaretz noted in 2002:

Israel holds the record for ignoring United Nations Security Council resolutions, according to a study by San Francisco University political science professor Steven Zunes.

***

[Zunes] systematically went through all the states given instructions by the security council to find out how common a phenomenon it was. His results were somewhat surprising: “Some of the countries are considered and are known to be friendly to the U.S.,” he told Ha’aretz yesterday. “In the vast majority of cases I examined, the governments violating UN Security Council resolutions are countries that receive significant military, diplomatic and financial aid from the U.S.”

Israel leads the list. Since 1968, Israel has violated 32 resolutions that included condemnation or criticism of the governments’ policies and actions. Turkey is in second place, with 24 violations since 1974, and Morocco is third with 17 resolutions it ignored.

***

Zunes specifically avoided counting resolutions that are vague or unclear so that governments could claim different interpretations to the meaning of the resolutions. Thus, the famous UN Security Council resolutions 242 and 338 are not included in his study. He also did not count resolutions that only included condemnations. Instead, he focused on those that included specific calls for changes in the subject governments’ policies.

The resolutions Israel violated were either about its annexation of East Jerusalem or settlements in the territories. Israel also ignored UN Security Council resolutions that called for Israel to cease using harsh measures against the Palestinian population and to cease expelling Palestinians.

Pulitzer prize winning journalist Chris Hedges points out that Israel has broken nearly a hundred UN Security Council resolutions regarding Gaza alone:

The continued presence of Israeli occupation forces defies nearly a hundred U.N. Security Council resolutions calling for them to withdraw. The Israeli blockade of Gaza, established in June 2007, is a brutal form of collective punishment that violates Article 33 of the Fourth 1949 Geneva Convention, which set up rules for the “Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War.”

Here is a brief sampling of UN Security Council resolutions against Israel:

Resolution 106: The Palestine Question (29 Mar 1955) ‘condemns’ Israel for Gaza raid
