Won a fair amount of money last night in the casino for my first time going ! Was wondering if we got any gambler or ex-addicted gambler stories..
as for mine, went in deciding id spend 100$ only and with my first 20$ won 240 in machines, played a couple games of war doubled on some decent amounts, left casino with 1200 white boy wasted *tu*

another good question for you guys is the saying true whatever you win gets put back in eventually?

I only win when I play Blackjack, all tho since I'm too tempted of playing other games like roullette sic bo bataille I either lose 100-200$ by the time I get to Blackjack and when I just get enough to bring my money back I leave. In some cases, I just stop playing not to take the chance. The most I've won in one night is 1500$ on blacjkack 50$ tables and was getting mad lucky ... I love playing Blackjack when it's only you and the dealer, for some reason gets your chances up of winning.
 
Went once, had a good time with friends, hours later, after I had put 20$ and lost it...I left happy after having a good time.

Would been nice to leave with 1200$ lucky motherfucker.
 
I go with my grandmother. She pumps a couple hundred into the slot machines, I hold onto my $20-40 and make it last.

My favorite is poker among friends, fixed buy in, some good whiskey/cigars. Hours of fun with minimal risk.
 
Je joue toujours 20$...si je me sens chanceux 40$ gros max! Je joue seulement pour le plaisir et j'ai souvent été chanceux. Durant l'été 2010 j'ai décidé de jouer mon 20$ dans les fameux slot machines, je perdais ma mise et vers la fin j'avais decidé de trippler à chaque coup...il me restait juste une mise avant de perdre,j'ai tripplé une dernière fois et j'ai gagné 1000$. J'ai quitté par la suite. Durant l'été 2011 en me disant que j'allais jamais être aussi chanceux que la dernière fois, je décide de jouer un 5$ dans les slot machines et je fini pas regagner le jackpot de 1000$ ha! Ha! La madame à coté de moi était pas trop contente de ma victoire après avoir perdu 700$ dans la machine que je venais juste de gagner.

People lose money n then try to re-win their loses... it's sad when you see someone you care about go through this.

As for myself, I used to go a lot when i was younger and won quite a bit. Max was about 3600$ on blackjack.. but easy come easy go! The money you win you spend it quick on frivolous stuff.
In the end, i saw a good friend lose his house and decided not to get too addicted to gambling because losing is right around the corner for everyone. Kind of like seeing friends addicted to coke blowing all their paycheck.. it's a hell of an addiction.

My mentality now is that if I go to the casino, I'm walking in with no cards; a set amount (usually 100-200$) and if i double my money i might as well quit while i'm ahead before I forget the value of money.
Those winnings are usually spent on booze n food; my good night out cost me nothing! :)

Montreal's casino is the most profitable in the world, meaning we get fucked more then anywhere else in the world. $20 poker tourneys with friends is the only time I gamble really.. some Mise O Jeau prop bets on football sometimes.
 
First time I went to the casino, I went in with a spending limit of 150$. Started with slots, about 3$ a spin I think, and came out with 750$. Second time I went with more money and basically lost my entire pay check in a few minutes.

thats the way it usually goes.

I usually end up losing $50-$100.
 
Went a couple times with friends, I've lost about 1k total.

I care too much about my money to blow it in a slot machine. And their buffet sucks.
