Seems like the Aussi might be unto something... press conference is being given right now. Objects spotted at sea via satellite imagery. A LOT of attention was diverted to this zone by many knowledgeable party before hand.

Edit: Fuck that, il est 6 am j'ai les deux yeux dans l'même trou j'ai mal checké lol

J'trouve que le résumé du pilote de 777 est la source la plus crédible jusqu'à maintenant.

At this point, i feel like nobody has even started looking for it (intentionally or not) and its just the media throwing bullshit articles and stories left and right.

The latest is that satellite data showed that once the plane turned around, it continued on a straight path and constant speed over the entire Indian Ocean before crashing.

Any update ?

A chinese sattelite found more large debris about 150km away from the debris they had spotted on Thursday (but never found).
Aussie planes and warships were supposed to go take a look today and see if they can find the debris this time around. But i don't know if they got there yet.

Malaysia is waiting on the FBI to help out with recovering some of the routes the pilot had deleted from his simulator. They're also analyzing the 54 minutes of conversation with the control tower before the plane went silent. Apparently they're intrigued about an unnecessary altitude update the pilot gave the tower at 1:07, right when the ACARS sent its final update before being shut down. Not sure why this bit of communication is weird. Apparently they had communicated altitude 6 minutes earlier and there was no change afterwards to warrant the new update.

^^ Nobody ever said that, and we didn't find anything yet. There is so many garbage floating in that area of the Indian Oceans because of the currents, it can be anything but a plane.
That being said, i'm sure it's somewhere in the bottom of the Indian Ocean.

Looks like an Aussie search plane spotted what looks like a wooden pallet and several cargo straps floating around. Ships are going to the area to fish them out and have a look.
Those could have fallen off a cargo ship, but could also have been user to hold cargo on the plane.
The press have asked Malaysia Airlines whether there were any wooden pallets on the plane, but the fuckers aren't giving a straight answer. At least not to the press.
