Cars made in mexico

I need to dig up some stuff for work and would appreciate you guys' help.

I know that a lot of European car manufacturers make their cars for the US and Canadian markets in Mexico because of cheap labor and free trade between countries. For example, I found the following cars for the US/Canadian market were built in Mexico:
-VW jetta a6
-VW beetle
-BMW series 3, series 5, series 7

I was wondering if you guys knew of any Japanese car manufacturers making cars in Mexico... I found the following, but I'm sure my list is incomplete.
-Honda Fit 3rd gen
-Honda CRV
-Toyota Tacomas

Thanks guys!

I don't recall ever coming across a BMW made in Mexico yet.

Yeah, i actually was not sure if the ones available in Canada and the US are made in MX or not. I just looked it up on wikipedia and they have significant operations down in Toluca, MX.

Mexico made:
Nissan:
Versa/Micra/Sentra
Ford:
Fiesta
Chrysler:
Journey, Fiat 500, RAM trucks
Volks:
Jetta, Beetle, new Golf
Audi:
TBC in 2015
Honda:
Fit, Fit CUV
Mazda:
3, next gen 2 and next Toyota Yaris
Toyota:
Tacoma

That seems about it. BMW doesn't produce cars in Mexico since they don't have a production plant here.

ouais, dans ce cas la c'est fort possible que ca soit une production destinee aux marches interne et d'amérique latine. Anyway, merci pour l'input!

As far as I know, the easiest way to tell where a car was made is the first number or letter in the VIN number.

1=USA
2= canada
3= Mexico
J= Japan
K= Korea
not sure of the rest.

For Mexico built cars it'll look like this:

3FE Ford Motor Company Mexico
3G General Motors Mexico
3H Honda Mexico
3N Nissan Mexico
3VW Volkswagen Mexico

Toyota and Honda have plants in Canada
Subaru has 1 plant in indiana for us and Canada market

I think that most of the european cars for our market are built in mexico. Except for Bmw..But not 100% sure..

La liste porte a confusion. J'ai un sierra 2013 et c'est clairement indiqué l'usine de fort wayne. Cela concorde aussi avec le vin. Pour le sierra/silverado c'Est seulement les transmissions qui sont fait au US/mexique.
