After Lancia won the World Rally Championship in 1991 with Juha Kankkunen piloting a Lancia Delta Integrale 16V to victory to also take home the manufacturer’s title, the carmaker celebrated with a special edition model. Dubbed the Delta HF Integrale Evo 5, the car was limited to just 400 units. Car # 83 is now up for sale in Norway priced at 439,800 NOK, or the equivalent of around $73,000.

Wearing the always desirable Martini livery, the five-door hatch comes with Recaro seats, black Alcantara and a numbered plaque near the gear shifter. According to the ad, the special edition model is entirely original save for a stainless-steel exhaust, 17-inch OZ alloys and adjustable struts. Power comes from a 2.0-liter turbo rated at 210 hp and 224 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to all four wheels via a five-speed manual and limited-slip differential. Upon release, Lancia claimed it could sprint from 0-62 mph in 6.3 seconds and a post a top speed of 136 mph

There was one for sale locally (Lachine?) a few years ago, same graphics. Don't think it was an Evo 5, but it was an EVO.

They were asking around 40K, IIRC.

whats better , this or a nissan gti-r ? they seem to have exactly same concept and same style.

For most purists, this is a no contest - the Lancia TROUNCES the GTi-R. It is a bit like comparing a Red MR2 Turbo with a Ferrari 355.

The Toyota is really good, but it's no Ferrari.

And for rally guys, the results sheet speak for themselves - the Group A Lancia won 6 World Constructor's Championships and 4 World Driver's Championship, while the Group A Nissan GTi-R didn't even win a single World Championship event, much less a championship. As a matter of fact, the GTI-R only competed in 9 World rallies, then it was pulled because, well, it sucked...

The Nissan did fare much better in production based Group N, however, with a championship there.

But for a street car, I'm certain the Nissan is much, much easier to live with. Even guys with supercars find the Delta expensive to run!
