A few years ago you had a 12 years old Camry Solara, and now you are looking for a 30k$ car? You should take your time to upgrade, otherwise before you hit 30 you will already have the nicest car you will ever have.
Otherwise I love the seats in those GS, probably the best of the industry (for a touring sedan).

Well, a few years ago I also had a 94 POS honda accord but as we grow up we earn more money and can afford better things. What can I say? Im hoping to get a GTR before i turn 30 though. Not to spend all my lifesavings and borrow money for it, but comfortably afford it without having to cut corner on other stuff.

Right now the only thing I hate about the GS is the cheap ass exhaust exits. Dont know wtf Lexus was thinking

You don't buy these cars you lease them because they don't retain their value and they don't age well.

Secondly, if you are 30 years old why you are buying a large semi-luxo boat unless you like pimped out cars (which from the pics you seem to do)? The GS is mechanically a sound car but anonymous at best and unless you have a family it would be at the bottom of the list.

I just went from a Civic Wagon to a $30k car. What's your point?

Reason not to buy one: Too few pedals. Not much of a race car

Civic wagon, ca a une valeur qui va au delà des chiffres.

Because starting around $55k..... I would take a BMW 5 series or BMW 4 series (yes two doors) or a Benz E-Class or a Audi A5 (yes two doors)

lol, not sure if srs. The GS has amazing resale value, better than anything in its class. I'm talking comparable engines obviously (so no "a used E55 is more expensive than a base GS300" arguments)

Not aging well is a matter of opinion. The GS was always ahead of it's time in terms of design IMO, and this gen is no exception.

OP - reason not to get one? None except that this is not a sporty car but none of these mid size luxury cars are (except the M5). The other reason is the front grill that is a hate it or love it kinda deal. If you do get one, make sure you get an F-Sport.

@LEXUS

I know nothing about the GS resale value.... and not arguing about it....

I think there a little bias since your username is LEXUS hahahahha :p
