Photoshoot: Dinan Stage 3 BMW 335i

$1300 un cold air intake pis $3000 un limited slip diff.. wow
3K for the limited slip diff is the price, even if you’re doing it with the guys at turnermotorsport youre gonna end up with the same bill
IMO it's not overrated and overpriced if it lets you keep your warranty. It just proves that they're very high quality parts
I’m ok with the warranty part, but there are other manufacturers that makes better quality with better results for cheaper. For Exemple on S85 V10,
throttle body spacers are proven to make no gains at all, Dinan Carbon intakes are superior in price but inferior in quality and gains compared to the Evolve Eventuri. Same thing for the Tune, Evolve is alot alot better and cheaper. For exhaust systems, there is about 4 other brand; same quality then dinan and cheaper.
But they do not have then BMW partnership
Dinan Stroker kits are for real tho, 30K$

lol @ 3k diff

quaife, 1.5k

lol @t you don't know what youre talking about, thats no nissan cool kid drift stuff

the point on doing a Dinan diff upgrade is to get a shorter geariing with a higher final drive,
So if you knew what you where talking about and buy the same parts separately to do a similar job :
ring & pinion for final drive (3.91 like dinan) : 1100usd$+tx +ship
Quaife lsd : 1400$+tx+ship
bmw diff bearings + shims ; +/- 550$ w/tx
now you have to get it assembled

Meanwhile : peloquin differential that handle 800+hp are going for $1,000 (add 2-300 for install)

impossible (2-300$ install) , when done properly you have to change diff bearings and then do the shimming job which can be expensive if done correctly, and that dosent count the time for the diff swap on the car itself.

Why pay...

500$ for a bottle of wine
12,000$ for a watch
450,000$ for a car

etc
etc
Right, but still it is a lot of money to drop on such car. It would be the same on a civic, etc. Why bother with expensive upgrades, when you can get a better car for less money?

1) Stage 3 ECU upgrade: $2199
2) Dinan free flow exhaust: $1700
3) Dinan carbon fiber cold air intake: $1299
4) Dinan high performance intercooler: $999
5) Dinan high capacity oil cooler system: $1299
5) Dinan front carbon fiber strut tower brace: $499
6) Dinan limited slip differential: $2999
1) A LOT of money, but could be worth it if the HP are behind it. Still way too much for a chip
2) It makes probably very little difference power-wise, but the sound must be a lot better.
3) Is this a joke? 1300$ for pipings?
4) very expensive, it might make a big difference
5) probably a waste, otherwise too expensive
5) 500$ for a brace. make sense. Oh, carbon fiber is shit when compressed, only good in tension.
6) LOL

The upgrade price in order to keep his warranty is probably the same as the price of an engine failure...

LOL at price of Dinan parts. $1300 intake sounds legit... not.

Warranty is overrated.

a 12k watch, or half a mil car is a STATEMENT. It means : I have succeeded in life and I can afford shit other people are dreaming of.

putting 4k rims on a bagged jetta (or 13k of bolt-on on a used N54) is a crazy expense made in the name of passion for cars, or completely stupid. depending on who you are talking with.

and where da fuk is the alcohol injection kit ???
