12 hours in Tokyo ?

Just landed in MTL today. Back from a 30 days trip in Laos / Vietnam + the 12 jours layover in Tokyo.
Had the time to go to Asakusa, take the tourist bus near Tokyo station, went to Shinjuku for the government building lookout (that city is HUGE). Had time to stop by Shibuya station to see the scramble crossing and visit the nearby streets.
I really wish I would have had more then 12 hours! We met a guy in the subway randomly who told us about the culture, etc... very different from other Asian cultures. I have NEVER seen so many smiles, 'thank you', and 'sorry' toward us. It was really a different world.
I will be back there for sure. As for the rest of the trip, it was completely insane, I really encourage everybody that can go to Laos and Vietnam to do it, and do it now before it becomes like Thailand (overpopulated by tourist!).
