Gin & Tonic

J'ai envie de me faire un bon gin/tonic et je me demandais ou est-ce que je peux trouver du tonic plus haut de gamme à Montréal?

Ca me tente pas de pogner du Schweppes en dépanneur, c'est plein de sucre pis c'est assez ordinaire.

L'été dernier quand j'était en Espagne, il y avais genre au moin une dizaine de sorte de tonic différentes direct a l'épicerie donc je changeais tout le temp pour essayer plein de trucs et je trouve que ca fait vraiment une différence!

Bref avez vous des bonnes adresses ou carrément des produits à me conseiller?

Quel est votre Gin préféré?

J'ai essayé cette bouteille dernierement, ca provient des Islay et cest distillé par Bruichladdich (pour les connaisseur de Scotch):

+1 pour du tonic avec du San Pelegrino...
Moi jprend du Tanqueray + 1/4 de lime

Je checkais justement les sirops chez alambika, mais l'affaire c'est que ils en ont plein pis je les connais pas du tout, thanks pour la recommendation!
 
J'ai été dans un petit pub anglais (à Montréal) dernierement, le Bishop & Bagg. Et ils avaient du gin Oxley de disponible. Il est juste disponible en importation privée et je connais un seul autre bar qui le tien en stock.

C'est un gin qui est distillé à froid, cest vraiment cool comme procédé, je pense que il n'y a pas aucune autre compagnie au monde qui distillent leur alcool sans l'aide de chaleur.

Bref ca donne un produit ultra smooth, vraiment un des meilleurs gins que j'ai bu de loin, mais en contre partie cest super limité et assez dur a trouver

Odd, everywhere I went in Europe, they used Schweppes India Tonic, which is identical to what we find here. Canada Dry doesn’t cut it at all for me.

They sell the italian made Scheppes , im telling you, not the same ingredients , no corn syrup,


At like 5$ a 4 pack

But i lik better the Stappj at like 5$ for 6 pack


All can be found at my fav store, Berchicci

And let's face it, it looks much more balllah too !

They may not have the same ingredients, but it sure tastes quite similar...

As for the baller status, I'm also used to MR and it's legion of guys who only buy the best and most baller of everything... and then make 57 threads about which 2500$ Luxury car they should buy that will last them the next 10 years... ;)

Tonic : tonic 3/4 sirop . Metons chez alambika mais yen as a plein de place .

That might be my next thread, i just leart something called responsability and a 50k car might not be so ''raspohnshable'' whatever that means....

But yah try the Stappj , or FEVER TREE since its even much more money, you MR rich motha faccka !
