- Mettez un systeme de rep positif/negatif pi les users vont se ''neg-rep'' au lieu de s'insulter dans les threads. Tu peux pas avoir un systeme de Rep juste positif, ça fait juste des esti de like-whore(comme FB). Pi les like-whore ça post dla marde en quantité industrielle pour esperer avoir des likes paske y'a personne pour les ''neg-rep''.

- L'idée qu'apres X amount de neg-rep recu en un temps determiner tu te fais ban 24hr-48hr-3jr-7jr-30jr-life(apres verification par un mod pour pas que les meme 4-5 tata se mettent ensemble pour banner quelqu'un) c'est une bonne idée.

- L'idée que les OP devrait pouvoir modérer(faire le menage dans les posts) dans leur thread c'est une bonne idée.
 
C'est drole que ca soit toujours les meme qui se font basher...Quand tu cherches pas le trouble tu te fais pas écoeurer ! J'ai eu un peu de ''beef'' avec ladyboys au début pour finalement me rendre compte que le gars est juste un personnage comme je le suis aussi sur le board.

IMHO, and I've been saying it since day 1, IP bans should be a thing on MR. Also, warnings should be edited in messages that are being warned for, so other members can see that a post X wasn't tolerated for X reason... And then other members will know not to do the same things over again... I know the red flags are used once in a while but it's discreet. Other forums get mods to delete/edit moderation messages inside "illegal" posts...


And also, it would be insanely nice if trolls a-la student13 would be banned...

I remember when I was new to MR, always scared to post stuff because of how harsh mr seemed to its new members... I lurked for over a year.

I did get my fare share of bashing with snakefd3s and porntricio 1-2 years ago when the whole jaymac/gothmog/SRB vs. snake etc got out of hand...

Yeah I mess around with a few members, but I consider myself decent when it comes to interacting with them.

For example: I'm nice with Alain, even if I like Some comments from other users.


I guess some people just don't know where to apply their troll brakes...

I'm a strong believer that Alain is a HUGE source of the problem. Ce gars là c'est plus gros pleurnicheur que j'ai vu sur tous les site que je fréquente, quelle couille molle.

This, just like enforcing IP banning of duplicate accounts, is something that would unfortunately take a lot of time, done in a fair and proactive manner.

no worries, I know I wasn't targeted but I was speaking more in general terms and gave those examples because they do come up a lot in the thread and in the community in general. I do remember that throughout the community's history there were several similar cases though (someone decides to troll another member consistently). Some last longer than others. I agree about Alain, he does contribute and has deep knowledge in certain fields, would not consider banning him despite the fact that in some of the trolling cases against him (and this is strictly me, the user, speaking) he does seem to really ask for it.

Your point is valid but it is normal in a way because mods here are long time members. So even if maybe at times unintentionally, some will "take sides" especially when members they know/are friends with, get involved in quarrels. It is one of the problems with having old time members as volunteer mods.

I really hope this discussion will bare fruit and some solutions can be found in order to keep the forum active and lively, decrease the sometimes excessive or out of place trolling but still keep the content varied and entertaining.
 
si j'aurais 10 cennes chaque fois que mon nom est mentionne ici .... je mangerais une poutine au vrai Chez Gerard a Fabreville
 
J'ai lu deux pages. Tellement de bullying sur les modérateurs.

Anyway, peu importe ce qu'on fait, c'est nous le problème. Le site gagnerait simplement si les utilisateurs prenaient le temps d'utiliser la fonction "IGNORE" qui est offerte à tous.

Oups, more cyber bullying. Et si te payer une poutine pour t'aider à mieux faire la part des choses aidait la situation, je t'en paye une grosse. Tu prends ce site trop à coeur Alain, tu peux mieux exploiter ton temps.

pas du tout il suffit de tagger le message et ecrire signature dans la raison
j'ai un message de quelqu'un dans ma signature qui est assez drole hors contexte mais je ne l'ai pas modifie et prit la peine de garder le lien vers le message original qui parle de moteur saute mais etre un vrai troll j'aurai modifie le texte un peu et cache le lien
 
pas besoin de bannir tout les trolls, faut juste remettre a leur place ceux qui s'enfle la tete un peu trop....comme la ladyboy, toujours le dernier mot pas rapport....kick dat ass

au moins je suis pas tout seul a penser que ladyboys est de trop ici :)

t'aurais du rajouter nickHD pi le tour est jouer

pi pour le monde qui capote sur alain tant qu'a moi il est divertissant ,partage sur le site

donc théoriquement y fait ce que tout membre a le droit faire si vous l'aimer pas ignorer le c'est tout problem solve
 
Good to see action has already been taken in the Meets / Shows / Julep section including the clean up of Alain's pout n ride thread and the promotion of a new moderator who is actually an active member.

Otherwise congratulations to Danny for all the views, you managed to get a lot of peoples' attention and in turn must have earned some ad revenue in the process.

j'ai deja dit que je crissais mon camp de poster dans le thread des assietes a moitie vide avec du brocoli mais jamais du site
