Well Greece should have never joined the EU in the first place. Thanks to Goldman Sacs hiding the structural problem in their economy allowing them into the Euro, this situation was made inevitable. Also would you trust ANY politician not to spend money to buy votes? I didn't think so.

Goldman sachs got paid to hide the Greek crap. if you think they did it without Greece's involvement, you're high. not only they have a huge deficit, they lied about it too, and are now blaming it on Goldman. Goldman will pay for doing it, if only because their name is tarnished and they will lose a lot of future opportunities, but the greeks are the ones that should take the blame.

Je n'ai pas d'emploi, et je n'ai rien à manger. je vais à la banque et je demande un prêt pour survivre, tout en promettant que je vais me trouver une job. la banque me croit, et me donne $100,000. je vais au concessionaire et j'achète une auto neuve, je fais des voyages, loue un 10 1/2, etc. le jour où je dois rembourser le tout, je n'ai plus un sou, je n'ai pas trouvé un emploi (même pas cherché en fait - quand j'ai le ventre plein, pourquoi travailler), et je revendique mon droit d'être citoyen souverain. je ne veux rien savoir de rembourser, et je crois fermement que je n'ai jamais demandé de prêt et je trouve que le système bancaire et injuste; c'est de l'esclavage! je vais garder mon auto neuve, car elle est à moi, je l'ai payé!

sans EU, la Grèce serait en faillite depuis longtemps. l'EU a proposé que la Grèce quitte l'union pour 5 ans. Même 1 an serait un désastre pour la Grèce. la seule chose que la Grèce peut faire à elle tout seule, c'est faire comme les pays africains: vends terrains, ports, etc à la Chine, ou peut-être aux russes. J'aimerais bien voir les grecs avoir à faire aux chinois/russes pour un an juste pour les voir à genoux après en s'excusant auprès de l'EU.

quelques faits, sur des centaines de choses ridicules qui se passent là-bas.
1. nombre de salaires mensuels par année: 14. ils doivent avoir un calendrier moderne que personne d'autre ne comprend.
2. la Grèce dépense 11.5% de son PIB sur les pensions. tout à fait débile.
3. pension après 37 ans de travail. si tu commences à 20, tu finis à 57. autres pays: 65. bientôt 67. par le tems que j'y serai: 70+
4. $ pension en Grèce > $ pension en Allemagne. La productivité allemande est reconnue mondialement. La productivité grecque.. LOL
5. 10% des gens sur le marché du travail sont dans le public. job à vie à presque rien faire. les pires cols bleus ici seraient leurs employés modèles là-bas.

Mais une autre chose je suis pas sure. les greek est-il possible pour eux de remonté leur économie sans union européen et sans les russe et chinois.

I never said that the Greeks were not involved. They (The Greek Gov't in the 90'S) are equally responsible for committing accounting fraud that allowed them into the Euro. Goldman perpetuated said fraud in the course of their business and was paid. Now when you say the Greeks are the ones to blame which Greeks are you talking about? You saw with the earlier referendum their votes and desires were completely disregarded.

The real people who should be prosecuted are the business interests and the politicians who colluded together to join the Euro.

the Greeks decided against austerity. the same Greeks who receive pensions for their dead grand-mothers decided that they don't want the government to actually stop sending that check. they want 15% (2/14) extra pay checks a year for absolutely no reason. they don't want to retire like every other nation out there.

the Germans work until 65 and retire with a smaller pension. so every Greek between 57 and 65 voted to stay home on his fat pension and watch the Germans pay for it. except for some reason the Greeks were under the impression that the Euro is compelled to maintain their current standard of living. Which is not true. the Euro said either you do it and you get more money, or you don't. and you don't.

The Greeks voted not to austerity, and yes to a collapse of their banking system. yet they all lined up for hours to get 60 Euros from the bank every day. why did they do that? I thought they were ok with the collapse, which means their accounts would get erased. Ok with the disappearance of their anemic economy. No more government paychecks for a long long time while they still have to go in to 'work' every day. Can you imagine the riots if that happened? Greeks voted no to austerity, yet polls show that 83% of Greeks want to stay in the EU, which is why their referendum did not include an exit clause. That's because they know they are sitting ducks without the EU.

the people that wanted Greece in the Euro zone, didn't do it the right way because they falsified information. However, the victim here is the Euro. Had they known the truth, the would've left the Greeks to turn to cannibalism on their own. the fact that Greece was in the EU delayed this moment by probably 10 years. What did the EU ever do to the Greeks other than give the more and more and more and more loans so they can sustain their idiotic views?

there is only 1 thing that the Greeks could not do while in the EU, going along with all the benefits, and that is devalue their currency. the EUR value had little to do with them because their economy is insignificant. But letting your currency go down the crapper brings inflation and other problems that would lead to another referendum and more riots, but none having to do with the EU.

the current loan they are requesting (and will be getting) is more than 10,000 EUR for each person in Greece, just to keep everything afloat. in a world where everyone is realizing that the way to go is getting rid of debt, they are adding 10,000 EUR to every person, just to keep going. It's mind boggling that they actually blame the EU for their own issues. they basically want to drive a mercedes, but don't want to pay for it. everyone does. but people generally know they have to pay for it.

You dont even have to work/live in Greece to get a pension, juste be Greek, Ridiculous, they also dont pay fines; "fines are for the poor" lol

Look yes I realize there are alot of people there on the dole parasiting off the system. This problem should have been taken care of in 2010 by allowing Greece to default and removing all welfare then and there. They would have had a hard default like Iceland and by now they wouldn't be in this mess. Also the riots are coming one way or the other, might as well get them over with as soon as possible.

The problems in that Country cannot be solved with loans, the whole system is rotten. The only way to actually fix Greece is to let it fail spectacularly and let god sort out the rest. And yes ultimately that means leaving the EURO.

Finally I'd venture to say not all Greeks are lazy welfare/pension cheats.
