In light of this thread about the Replica F&F Eclipse being built in Montreal (an idea I quite like), what does MR think if the community crowd-funded a project to build the orange Supra and then auction it off for charity?
I think it might be too costly and maybe only 100 people would chip in $50 instead of the 1000 or so that we need but I really like the concept of crowd-funding a build for charity. Obviously I'd rather build the Charger but now we're talking $100K lol.
I think if we got 1000 members to chip in $50 for charity we could potentially make it happen. I haven't done any calculations yet but I will. What do you guys think? Here are some stats (prices questionable):
