The end of cars as we know them?

Does it ever bother you guys that we might be the last generation to drive? With advancements in autonomous cars I wouldn't be surprised to see a Mercedes S class that drives itself in the next 20 years. What does this mean for us?

will happen sooner then that. 5 years in california and in 10 years it will be common in big cities.

It's great news and i'm ready to get one anytime

I'm okay with this. It has become very painful to drive in urban areas, I would rather lay back do some work, read, surf or nap as I am being chauffeured around.

I agree with this statement.

As long as I can drive a properly analogic anachronistic cars on country roads when I want to.

In car blow-job, texting, watching porn, without crashing. If it's for commute, count me in. But leave me the command when I go driving for fun.

idk... i suppose removing humans from equation is a good idea when it comes to driving, the amount of complete imbeciles we all see almost everyday on the roads is enough to validate this alone. That and we will never have to worry about traffic related tickets again :D

But I kinda like driving, i think its far to assume everyone on this forum does lol, so am I willing to let it go? No. I will keep a manual car as long as I can.

send from LG G3
