Fell asleep looking at the pics.

After 4 years of bland vanilla, a couple of days after a huge emissions scandal, THIS is the new Passat? This? Really?

Passat /R trim.
Because fuck fog lights. Sporty plastic fins /black plastic bits in the lower fascia is what ze people want!
 
The changes are subtle but they make a world of difference. The N/A edition just looks like they went on full on cost cutting mode. All the interesting styling along the side gone. It looks cheap and from the back look like it's from the early 2000's.
 
I liked the late 90's/early 2000 Passat so much back then. The 05+ didn't have such a timeless design but had some luxury feel. Now they got the same timeless style as before, but more bland and with most cost cutting/cheaper finition. Lose/lose stuation, except for the price. I feel like watching our old camry 1999, there was nothing to criticize about it, but nothing to get excited either.

The Jetta sells because of price (149$ lease anyone?) Not because of anything else.

Same for hyundais... People are really price sensitive here.

lol sérieusement j,en ai tu rien a chier que les diesel soit plus poluante que prévu ... c'est pas sa qui va faire que j,aimerai pas mon char .

Meanwhile les chars de GM on tué du monde et personne capotais .... Méchant beau bozo
 
Honnêtement, je n'ai jamais vu autant de Passat que depuis qu'ils construisent une VW Camry pour le marché NA. C'est ce que le monde recherchait, une voiture confortable, avec des bonnes motorisations, pas cher. Ils ont réussit leur pari et ca va continuer comme ça avec ce modèle!
 
so VW did all this shit to cover up even more shit and they still couldnt find a way to make the check engine light not come on so much ?
