Opinion on 35% tint Vs 50% up front ? Cop attention-wise.

Hey,

Just got my black S4 tinted with 50% front and 35% back + 20% backglass.

This is in fact the same thing I've been doing since 8 years with the buick, alero and skyline. Never got pulled once. So althought 50% is already too dark by law, I think most cop won't bother with it.

However, for the first time, I feel like 35% up front would have looked better and gave the car a slightly more ''vip'' ( for the lack of a better term) with a darker tint up front. What's your thought on that ?

My Friend and I had our windows tinted the same way as your. I had a black car and he had a light blue one. I never got pulled over but he did and by a cop who had that machine to check them.

It's a gamble like doing 130 on the highway
 
J'avais 15% all around, je ne me suis jamais fais écœurer.
T'es rendu avec un s4 pas un Civic ti coune ou jdm, tu risque pas de te fsire écœurer

On roule la CTS avec les memes teintes en avant et en arriere depuis un an sans problemes mais j'avoue que ca me rend nerveux des fois quand j'ai une police a cote de moi a une lumiere.
 
Par le passé je me suis fait collé pour un stop, j'avais 35% avant/20% arrière...le policier ma remis un ticket d'inspection pour vitres, no ticket for the stop. J'ai du 50% en avant depuis sur une vitre a 70% tint d'origine, doesnt look illegal at all
 
I like not having tint on the front windows, so people can see me in general and especially when I give the "WTF are you doing you retard!?" sign.
 
je sais pas ma teinte, mais c'est plus foncé que la limite légale et jamais de problèmes à date.


 
J'aime pas ben ben les vitres teints. Jm'en fou pas mal de ce qui est a l'interieur, mais c'est plus pour regarder de l'autre coter du vehicule. Sur le coter ca me derange pas trop mais quand c'est vraiment foncer pour l'arriere ca me rage.
 
j'ai 35/25 sur mon jetta rouge et 0 probleme avec la popo surtout a Montreal, j'ai un peux plus peur quand je vais en regions par contre lol
 
my 35% tints up front lasted a year and a half, not bad since i have a ticoune red civic si. Cop got me as i was pulling out of the job's garage and i didn't have enough time to open the sunshade to let light in... Both my friends have the same tint pattern as me, 35 front, 20 passenger windows and limo back glass. One of them with a boss302 got pulled over but never removed them and my other friend have a mazda 3 and my guess is that he's never gonna get caught.

Tbh, 35% was very dark at night in the city doing stops trying to see people.
 
Limo tint in the back glass back window and the lowest in the front on a black car. I got pulled over many times and never once got a ticket for my tints.

J'avais 50-35-20% sur mon civic SI.

je me suis fait tasser pour un ticket de vitre teinté en plein traffic sur la 40 a des sources a 08:00AM

Il m'a arrêté juste pour ca. j'ai eu un 48 heures. J'ai roulé plusieurs autos avec cette teinte dans les 10 dernieres années mais j'ai vraiment pogné un qui manquait un ticket pour son quota de la journée.

Donc je dirais que oui c'est risqué avec 35 a l'avant!
