Edit, solved by Spi
I went to Pikes Peak last week.
I saw two test mules but I can't make out what they are. I know... the pictures are crappy. Calling out to MR army to find out what they are.
Hints from my walk around:
The guys spoke German.
The hood is beefed up underneath the wrap. The actual hood is much more sleek.
The exhaust is routed through a vertical snorkel so you can't use the tail pipes as clues.
There was a navi screen on top of the dash "à la BMW" but the steering wheel was not BMW...
The wheels and brake calipers bore no markings.
The brake lights and markers are magnetic type add-ons over the actual lights (underneath the wrap)
They are not high interrest sports car like the next 911 but nevertheless interresting to see test mules in the flesh
That's the new mercedes A class. North-America is supposed to have it along with the A45 amg in 2018-2019
