The motor is sold. The supercharger is still for sale.

This is the stock Shortblock out of my 2002 SVT Lightning. It only has roughly 55 thousand KM's on it and is currently still in the truck. I should be removing it within the next few weeks to install the new shortblock. This shortblock is in perfect condition. Some stats...

Configuration 5.4 Liter 90°
Displacement 5410 cc / 330.1 cu in / 5.4L
Bore 90.0 mm / 3.54 in
Stroke 105.6 mm / 4.16 in
Compression Ratio 8.4:1
forged steel crankshaft
forged pistons
sinter-forged alloy connecting rods

The Triton V8's cast-iron block features a "deep skirt" design for increased rigidity, and it contains a forged steel crankshaft, sinter-forged alloy connecting rods, and forged pistons. These robust pistons are specially designed to withstand the added combustion pressure generated by supercharging. Dished tops lower the engine's compression ratio to 8.4:1, and a friction-reducing coating on the pistons' sliding surfaces allows the engine to gather revs more quickly, reducing wear on the piston and bore surfaces.

$800 for complete shortblock (I am located in Ottawa)

will that work well with my 4.6L dohc heads (mustang GT) ?

Ummm as far as I know Mustang GT's have SOHC not dohc. Only Mach1's and 97up Cobras have DOHC.

But yes the heads on a lightning are the same heads as on the SOHC mustang GT's depending on the year.

If you have DOHC heads then they came from either a Mach 1 or a Cobra not a GT and no sorry DOHC heads would not fit on this block.
