We’re going to attempt to do something that has never been done before in Montreal, the longest VW Rolling Shot ever! Anyone and everyone with a VW/Audi/Euro car is welcome to show up to the event! We’re trying to get at least 50 cars to the event!

V-Dub Rolling Shot Madness is going to be filmed in 1080p, as well as going to be photographed by a handful of photographers including the event sponsor Piicture.com.

If you’ve got a camera that films 1080p, BRING IT!!

The cruise will be edited into a short movie and put online within 1 week!

When will it happen? Friday, September 17, 2010

What time do we meet? 11:00pm

Where’s the meet up? Orange Julep (7700 Decarie Boulevard)

Where are we going? Ville Marie Tunnel

Are you guys nuts? Fuck yes!

We’re going to explain the plan and how this is going to happen at the meet up on the 17th so get your asses in gear and come join us for an epic photoshoot!

Damn, this is getting huge.

I'll see if I can get borrow my buddy's HD video-capable SLR cam. I was hoping to pick mine up during the summer, but Nikon's new releases have been holding me back...

Not at the beginning of it I don't think, only at the end when you start coming out going towards to the Jacques-Cartier bridge

scout it out though.. was just on the VM and lots of closed lanes just before the tunnel
 
yeah construction on ville marie has been going on for months but lanes are open and untouched, perfect for low cars.
scout it out but doubt they is a issues
 
I say, camp the truck/cam on that closed lane on the left, that way the ugly cones aren't in the way/shot. Then take the longest rolling video shot of 50 v-dubs passing by.

And bring a flat spare, and keep it beside the car/truck. That way if popo's or towing shows up, tell them you just finished changing your flat.

good call for the flat for the truck idea, clever. I think we will be doing a few laps of the tunnel so we will defs be able to do this. I'm JP on fb who just wrote on ur wall btw haha
