The Laval Police have removed a photo from their Twitter feed featuring officers clad in riot gear holding a sign that reads “Joyeuses Fêtes Laval”. It was actually a screenshot from a holiday video they made a year ago.
The photo was tweeted out on December 31 and immediately many people replied that it was in poor taste and very offensive.
“Do these guys take themselves for marines or what?” wrote one user on Reddit.
