Things to check on a 96 talon?

Hey guys , this is for a friend, could you please make me a list of things to check when buying a 96 talon, i think the seller wants 12 000$ aand the car has some rust and 160 000km isnt that a lot??

too expensive

a car like that is worth 6000-7000$
8 years old....
tsi or esi?
if its an esi dont even bother!
 
Thanks, but is there anything he should look out for? like recalls or stuff thats known to break? I can't remember if it's a tsi or not 6000-7000 for a tsi?

A tsi with the mileage you gave is worth 6000-7000$.

For an inspection you go to PSM in Verdun, youll get the true picture with them.

and as i said, if its en esi forget it! esi are over evaluated. The 2g esi is in fact using the same bloc as a neon. We call the the widebody neons.
