96 Sentra + CD-Player !?!?!?

Hey, I just bought a pioneer CD player for my gf's car... it's a 96 Sentra...

I brought it to a garage to get it installed and he said I would have to also install a tuner of some sort for lik 15 bucks....

I wanted to know if this is true or not, if so, what does the new tuner do that the old one can't?

BTW, the pioneer CD player is the DEH-1400 series if memory serves me correctly!

Also, it's not installed yet... I still got to make an appointment...

i suggest tryin the audio section or making another thread saying ATT:99altimaGXE hes really good wit this stuff

The only thing I can think about is that you will need the Nissan to Standard antena adaptor....8 $ @ Canadian Tires
