Hi Everyone,
As of now you can purchase our short throw shift kit for the Protege/MP5/MP3 from our website or our regional distributor Importechnic in Bromptonville. Pictures of the shifter will be up later this week.
All of our shifters are CNC machined from high strength steel and nickel plated for a low friction, corrosion resistant finish and show quality shine. Our kit for the Protege includes:
A TWM Performance short shifter.
A full instruction manual.
2 TWM Performance vinyl decals.
All necessary mounting hardware.
CNC machined T6061 billet aluminum spacers which lower the heat shield beneath the car and provide the necessary clearance for our shifter (these also avoid bending or crushing the shield).
Our shifter reduces throw by 45% on the Protege and Protege 5, and 35% on the MP3. Knob height is lowered by roughly 1.5".
