10 and 12" mixx....

This is a question that my friend wants me to ask,

He has a RF 12" and wants to know what would happen if he put in a 10" too. Would he get a tighter bass with the deep too or would the 12 just drowned ou the sound of the 10". Should he just get the 2nd 12" and that is it. He system is all RF except the radio. He has RF amp too.

Can be done but MUST be mounted in seperate airspaces. And also must run off seperate channels of the amp. Cannot be hooked in parallel or series. Although it will sound like shit, it can sound good, but he'll need to wire up an external crossover to split the freqs. that each sub handles. (i.e.: 12" = 20Hz-50Hz / 10" = 50Hz-120Hz)

Although best thing to do is to sell one and but another of the same size!

He would get made fun of by the pros a lot.
