Hey Guys,

I got a small questionI was wondering if someone could help me with. I have an old Pioneer 12" sub which is cracked. It has a crack running down the middle of it. My question is: Is there anyway it can be repaired?

Any help would be appreciated

depending on how big the crack is..

is its really small, cutex can solve the problem..

if bigger, then epoxy.. if need be, you could even put a patch on top (for more strength)..

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. The duck tape just comes off when I start pumping up the bass. However, maybe the epoxy would be a good choice. Do you guys reccomend anything to patch up the sub?

I hope it doesnt affect the sound too much!

Thanks guys :D

nah, I believe whatever you use, as long as it completly seals the crack and no air can escape it will be fine!

Don't take my word for it But I heard Clear Nail Pollish would do the Trick... It Dries hard so go Figure.. Hey if it works on Chicks Nylons then I'm sure it would work on a Sub...

Just to let you guys know. I used some Epoxy and the sub is like new. Sounds great and the epoxy hardened and seems like it will have no trouble holding. Thanks for all the advice boys....
