this morning i thought i was dreaming, but i passed a volkswagen being "piloted" by Chris (RMR) himself. i never thought id see him in a vw.
 
I know, I know who would have thought? I do indeed like it though. It's smooth and quiet, something I did not have before. It's an old man's car...but I still have my Honda RC51 motorcycle when I want to go fast!
I'm just waiting for my springs to come in so I can lower it! My Bilsteins are sitting in my office, the K&N is in the box and I have a set of 18" BBS wheels on it for now.
I'm still a Honda guy at heart but thought the Passat was a better bang for the buck compared to a 3.2TL or a CL plus I have leather all the goodies and a 5 speed for a lot less cash.

Apocalypse now!
 
Did you buy it used? Red calipers and a little flat wing on the trunk? 1.8t?

It's a black with black leather 2002 with the 1.8T motor and a 5 speed. So far so good. I miss vtec but the turbo torque is fun. Now once the chip and suspension go on it will be much better!

I guess I haven't been trying to hard. Plus, it's hard to beat a sportbike for @#%$ appeal.
