Domestic respect
I agree with redcherokee that we as Domestic drivers don't get the respect that we diserve. It seems to me that the majority of Import drivers have no respect for other car manufactuers, actually this manily the one who drive Hondas. Remember this is only a few of the people. I'm friends with many a Honda drive that respects the fact that I drive a V8 and the actually love my car. But those out there who reffer to a V8 as a dinosaur, well they aren't really "car-guys" a car guy by deffinition is someone who loves cars plan and simple. I myslef would call like to be reffered in that way, I drive a Domestic(and I'm keeping it!!) but I am planning on buying a Honda. Don't get me wrong the Domestic crowd has their version of the fake car gus as well, I think that both genres of cars have their to put it lightly "haters" but we have to realize that a persons car is a extention of thier personality, this goes for the so called |ricers" too, we have to respect a persons creativity when they build thier car. I know that not all of us can afford a Type R or a Camaro. but we try to make what we can afford, cool in a sence. I aslo have to agree that the after market parts for a Domestic car are a little more Pricey than those for an Import. I don't realy know an answer for this maybe its because, of the supply and demand factor. I don't know. but in anyevent I hope that like in human soceity both Domestic and Import drivers can be seen as what they are....Drivers.
thanks.
