Stereo problem

I wanted to put a different radio in my car, so i bought the adapter to do it myself, the adapter plugs into the stock plug then i pretty much matched everything up, the only problem was that the power wire fell out of the stereo clip so, i am pretty much stuck sticking the wire from the adapter straight into the clip.

anyways when i plug it in there is no power to the deck, i look and it looks ok to me, i checked all the fuses they are all ok

can someone help me!!
