hey I'm want to change my gear ratio.
right now I have the stock 2.23, I have in the basement a set of 3.42, I was wondering if I go higher should I change my tranny for the turbo400 that I have(witha 4800 stall) to say a 700r4? if I were to do this I would go like 4.11, I understand that with the 700 I could still retain my gass milage but still get the out of the hole power that I want.
what should I expect in a time difference, I run low low 14's without gears and a ****edup tranny. Since I've changed my tranny I haven't run the car at the track, I know with the 4.11 I would see a difference, but with the 3.42 would I?
