best brands?

i would like to know which are the best brands for subs? and for amps? but that are not too expensive. and what is a good combination for a decent sound?

best bang for the buck amp would probably be JBL....

As for subs, MTX 6000s or 8000s have decent sound and aren't expensive. Pioneer IMPPs! Coustic aren't bad (PM pkelly84 for more info!)

I would say that you can pick up some of the rockford fosgate subs at a decent price that will pound really well and as for the amp, I suggest going with JBL as well.

I would say, JBL or MTX for the amps (I have them so I know what I'm talking about) and Rockford for the subs.
