Pionner HU

I would like to know if I can change HU from my DEH3300 to a higger better HU from pionner without having to change the wires in the back, I mean using the same plug? is it possible?

I believe they are all the same. Check on the pioneer site in their .pdfs, but they should all be alike!

I think they're the same too because the wiring harness is changed by the car's manufacturer not the HU manufacturer.

someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think you're not limited to just pioneer you can get sony or anything you want... but Pioneer is a great choice, that's what I have a 840 MP pioneer premier HU.

I'll check that out cause when I changed from my stock HU to pioneer they had to change that plug... thats why I was thinking of getting a pioneer HU and I could do it myself... cause on mine I lose the rear outputs (speakers) to get the sub control option... so I was gonna upgrade to either a Alpine 4 X 60 or a better pioneer with better sub controls...
