97 Maxima tranny problem :(

My tranny wont go into 3rd gear (97 maxima automatic) ive been told it either the clutch or solonoid possibly even a rebuild Would anyone have any clues ? that could pin point me more details?

Also if it was rebuild i was thinking that i might as well convert it to manual since the price could reach 4 digits. I check this site fast maxima, it looks very interesting
BUT i would have to get my hands on 5 speed manual tranny does anyone know any junk yards that might have 5 speed tranny in stock in good condition?

Or should i just the valve body upgrade if my problem is the valve body?

eek a trans problem... err i'm not sure... i'd check with A+ transmissions... they could fix that right up
