What song should we play?

My band has to play a song for a show but my guitarist wants a solo... Any of you know any good songs to play?

The song sorta has to be mainstream or a song that other people (mainly adults) will know...

bu i know this song of GUNS AND ROSES where slash does a huge solo ! if you're friend could play that hes amasing :)
try to find ou the name of that song , and theres a huge solo !
 
pink floyd's another brick in the wal part 2 or comfortably munb.
but if he sux don't play those songs it'll be ugly !!
 
French or English? I played a bunch of songs with guitar solos in them including stairway to heaven but some were French. One of my favs that has a guitar solo (he can make it longer if he wants) is nothing else matters by Metallica.
 
kirk hammet was cool before the black album after that he really sucks !! I used to love his worked out solo's. I learned every metallica song and solo, used to be in a kinda tribute band, all we played was metallica, Iron maiden and megadeth!!!
