Make sure your ground is on the same side of the car as you ran your power. Don't run the RCA's near any fuse boxes. Make sure you have good quality shielded RCA's.. What car do you have?

AudioAltima New member Sep 12, 2002 #3 ...all those, also consider a line-driver. A higher output voltage from your RCAs will help fight noise, although becareful, adding equipment could always bring in noise as well.

P pkelly84 Legacy Member Sep 12, 2002 #4 If you can fix it by doing all that, I'know a guy that installed noise filter and it did the job. It's not the best way but it is a way.
