audio tech question

my friend just bought a Honda CRV. he bought an amp and a sub and he wants to know if he needs a head unit or anything else to go with it....please name everyhting

He doesnt NEED a head unit. But it will sound much better with one. You can tap into the stock radios signal through the rear speakers. Feed there signal into the high level inputs of the amp (if available), if amp has no high level inputs, use a line level converter.

as for everything else, it's standard wiring, inline fuse, and all that other crap. For wire size and fuse size post what size amp he has. Well, make and model would be best. If not me, someone will get back to you with an answer!

Please take caution though..the OEM honda HU clips bass and ower midbass notes even at lower listening level..your fiend should at the last buy a entry level HU with at least 1 RCA output..
